Ever had one of your kids make a brilliant discovery at the worst possible time? Here is how I started my morning. I was cleaning out the van and Jax was "helping" me. Jax was pretending to drive and with the keys safely in my pocket, I found his activity harmless. Meanwhile I climbed into the small grocery compartment behind the third row to clean the back seat. Suddenly I heard a humming that I instantly recognized as the garage door closing. I park the van as far back as possible (to leave room in the front for storage, garbage. etc...So, when the garage door began to close, before I had time to react the rear door (which was open) began to close behind me as the garage door caught it. I crouched in the grocery compartment to decide if I should crawl over the seat (not easy for a big guy) or try to coax Jax to hit his newly discovered button again. He agreed to open the door, and I quickly locked the opener before finishing the task.
